| It's pretty fast and has an enourmous userbase. But installing mods really is a pain and upgrading when having mods installed is a nightmare. It lacks a few features too. That's why I've replaced phpbb with another SMF after having used it for a few years. |

| I kept getting SPAM postings. Wish they'd include a feature to embargo individual posts until they could be reviewed. All the program really does is authenticate registrations, not postings. It's not enough! |

| Must be among the best free BB's arounds. I've seen a comment about the template system being hard to code for. tI's easy. If you can do basic HTML you can template for phpBB. |
