| phpBB is the best forum I have ever come across. It doesn't even need any knowledge of PHP on the users' part and installation and administration is simple with the GUI interface. And if you know the code and want to change it to suit your needs, the code can be easily changed. Also error messages generated by the script are little compared to others where error of variables not declared were shown on hosts which turns on the error reporting to all. I would recommend this to anyone. |

| I've used an uncountable number of forums over the years and all have had problems, but phpBB seems to be an exception. It's very well designed and programmed. The code is very clean and even a non-PHP programmer like myself can easily modify it. I've never used PHP before, but found it very easy to modify. Generally a very well designed script with a good team behind it. Support forum is very good and the number of hacks/addons is quite impressive. Excellent! |
