| Tool ok, support slow. The tool is useful for ordinary html/php/asp-content, the interface is easy to use. Docs will only be parsed correctly if they are latin-1 encoded. XPdf is used to parse Pdfs (and has to be installed manually), and unless one manages to add other encodings (we didn't), question marks will be shown in the result lists instead of special characters. Support was initially friendly but couldn't help later. Money was refunded only when we started to write bad reviews (initial requests were ignored). |

| Site Search Pro product works great. I'm using it on over 12 sites right now and I'm able to index quickly and customize templates with ease. It is also extremely easy to install. Lots of great features like the statistics. It is very reasonably priced and my experience is that SSP customer service is quick and expert. |

| Never buy it! Very buggy, not tested well yet. I bought it one year ago and had problems with the first run. It just crashed with many pages. Support answered once after a few weeks, so I was forced to fix the code myself. Recently I found that it can not index big sites - my site around 9,000 pages to index. It can not index all search groups. |

| Easiest search engine ever to install. Site Search Pro (Gold) has all the features you could possibly ask of a search engine. Customer service is a priority with this company. They are fast, efficient and their product is very easy to use. |

| We bought Site Search Pro about two months ago and so far we love it! We are using it on our very large website and local intranet search. Particularly useful is the ability to create a search index from several different URLs (ie - different sites). We also use PDF and DOC files search. I have tried several search scripts, this is by far the most versatile. Recommended to anyone that needs a great search engine for own website! |

| Fast indexing and easy install. However, it's not very flexible, there is almost no documentation, it's difficult to configure, there is poor support, and they didn't honor their moneyback guarantee. |
