I tested all the main gallery tools. Many are hard to setup and many are not secure. So i tried 4images and yes... that's it! I'm coding PHP for myself. It's so easy to include new functions into 4images. Many modifications can be found in the 4images forum. I recommend 4images.

I've used 4images for about five years. My site is heavily customized, which makes it a little tricky to do updates. I'm not a PHP guru, but 4images is coded very well. Good work.

My hoster offers 4images click-to-install. It is a really good piece of software. The admin section gives me lots of useful functions. The big advantage of 4images is that it can be used not only for pictures, but also for Flash, videos, PDF files and more. Looking forward to the next version.

4images is a great tool. It's easy to configure. My gallery with more than 40,000 pictures runs really fast. The layout can be changed by using stylesheets.
