PHPlist

A simple set of scripts for maintaining a mailing list system. Users can signup on multiple lists and only receive one copy if a message is sent to more than one list. Designed to deal with a very large number of e-mail addresses.

Developers invested a lot of time and offer it free, which I appreciate. The interface is very awkward and the system is unreliable. Don't use this unless you have the patience of a saint.

Could use a little help on setting up. It is not totally intuitive. Take care on set up and read the instructions. You will be happy with it.

When it works it's a lovely system, but I've had more problems trying to cajole phpList into doing its job than I care to count. It routinely omits people from my sends for no apparent reason. Also, the new admin interface needlessly complicates the interface.

My list management has been streamlined since installing PHPlist. It is amazing! If you have a high volume newsletter, you should look into this program.

Hardly a script. It's an amazing list program and it's well supported. I can't believe it's free!
