Easy to install, great platform for anyone who is thinking about building a serious business. If you also use an affiliate component, you can say it is complete.

Nice and easy to set up. Sucks to fully customize entire layout.

Great script, but it requires register_globals switched on in your php.ini which is a big security hole! I cant believe it. So I won't be using it. Shame.

Very good system and easy to set up. I would recommend it to anyone.

Although OsCommerce seems to be the most used PHP shopping cart, it's starting to show its age. They have recently done a security update, but they've not issued a feature update in a very long time, although they keep promising. Integration of user contributions is difficult and customization remains pretty difficult. It gets the job done, but is ripe for a competitor to do a more thorough job.

Integration into existing HTML webpages is pure torture! Something really needs to be done about this. We are looking for an easy to integrate shopping cart. Just to include a file in the HTML, like including JavaScripts.

This is what open source is all about! Oscommerce rocks! Also there are handy forums and contributions to help with those custom modifications.

Easy to customize, fast, clean code, and most important free. I like it!

Excellent installation script. Not much documentation to help with customisation. If you are new to PHP (as am I) you will need some time to find everything. osCommerce produce good software and are not a training house so this does not detract from my rating.
