PEAR's package for communication with NNTP/Usenet servers. It handles the connection and protocol level commands (RFC977), including many non-standard commands (RFC2980). It includes a user-friendly API for intermediate users who don't want to work directly at the command level.

This is a web to NNTP gateway that allows you to view or post to Usenet newsgroups in a tree-based structure over the web. No SQL database required and has a simple installation.
